There are serveral type of suspension system in today's market and plenty of choices of aftermarket suspension upgrades. We, Godspeed Project, wants to help customer understand and know what they are investing money. This is just a general guide that explains common parts regarding suspension system.
Unlike traditional standard coil-overs, Godspeed coil-over dampers are full-length adjustable meaning it allows user adjust ride height without messing up spring rate settings. Also unlike traditional twin-tube shocks, Godspeed uses Mono tube design for better performance attributes.
Godspeed coil-over dampers are designed as a complete unit to specific car with ideal spring rate that we offer as perfect balance between street and track. With proper tuned Godspeed coil-over dampers, you can ensure comfort and performance at perfect balance level.
Top Hat
CNC machined billet aluminum then anodized to prevent corrosion. Depends on vehicle chassic, some application allows pillow ball plate that allows camber adjustment.

Made with high quality rubber that match or exceed OE spec. Helps prevent dust get into the shock or sticking to piston rod.
Spring
Spring rate are made specifically to individual car to ensure proper handling performance improvment can be achieved. Cold-wound to ensue long lasting compression and rebound property.
Shock
Mono tube shock housing are made from high quality stainless steel that in all weather conditions are corrosion resistant.
Spring Seat And Lock Rings
Used to set spring preload to achieve desire spring rate. CNC machined billet aluminum then anodized to prevent corrosion.
Lower Perch And Brackets
Used to adjust ride height which allows spring rate to be sperated from height adjustment. Made from carbon steel then power coated to prevent corrosion.
